ACROSS THE POND
SEW ALONG
Launched in 2012 by three friends, Amy, Susie and Amanda who are separated by the Atlantic Ocean (the pond) this sew-along is a very relaxed affair.  Every now and again we will post a FREE project for you to make.  The patterns are from various designers on both sides of the pond so there is something for everybody.  There will be a Flickr thread to accompany each project, enabling you to post your comments, ask questions or just chat.  There is no commitment – if you are too busy or don’t fancy making the project then that is fine.  You can still participate by telling us why or commenting on other members’ projects.  How involved you get is totally up to you.   So why not come on board and join us as we make friends around the world whilst having fun with fabric.

    do you have a pattern for a star patchwork coaster please? it is a round shape with a star pattern worked into the circle!

      The only star coaster I have is the one on the 'Tutorials and Freebies' page. That star could be appliqued onto a circle of fabric and then quilted and bound in the normal way. You could enlarge the star if needed.
